Standing atop Corcovado Mountain at 709 meters (2,326 ft) above sea level, the monument offers breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, its beaches, mountains, lagoons, and Guanabara Bay.
The journey to the summit is an attraction in itself. Traveling by train or van, you will cross the lush Atlantic Rainforest of Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world, while enjoying spectacular scenery along the way.
To complete this classic Rio experience, we head to the legendary Sugarloaf Mountain. Rising 396 meters (1,300 ft) above sea level at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, this natural landmark is famous for its unique granite peak and extraordinary views of the city and coastline.
